Michael Corts

Michael Corts is currently a Graduate Student at Oklahoma City University's Wanda L. Bass School of Music. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Michael has been actively involved in teaching, judging, conducting, and performing in the High Country of NC. He also served as a summer camp counselor at the Cannon Music Camp. 

In his current roles, Michael is the Percussion Director at Western Heights High School and the Director of OCU's Blue Star Steel Band. His focus is on bringing valuable musical education experiences to students and contributing to the musical community at large.
